Dr. Pamela Shackley is at the forefront of her field in integrative rehabilitation and has earned a reputation for excellence. A native of Sarasota, she has been in practice since 1980. She attended The University of Florida before receiving her doctorate at Palmer College in Davenport, Iowa. Besides extensive training in traditional chiropractic methods, she is certified in sports medicine, acupuncture, physical rehabilitation, age management medicine, and Class 4 therapeutic laser. As the chiropractor for the Sarasota Ballet and a longtime member of the Doctor's Circle, she specializes in athletic injuries. Her expertise includes treatment of chronic degenerative conditions, including those not responding to medication, exercise, previous chiropractic care or massage.

She received training in Germany in the Schlingentisch method, a highly effective treatment for back pain, sciatica, and disc injuries. She is one of the only doctors in the United States to be trained in this technique. She is also one of only 1000 doctors in America certified in the nationally recognized programs Backsafe and SittingSafe, for prevention of workplace injuries. She is a board member of Healthy at Work, an organization committed to improving health in the work environment.

As a published author and popular public speaker, Dr. Shackley has appeared on numerous television shows, including "Health Matters". She brings her caring expertise to each patient she treats, as well as a commitment to excellence.
